We have the honour to invite You to the next annual volume of International youth sporting tournament for the ice-hockey players born in 1999 and younger.

Be a part of creation of the new ice-hockey tradition in Bratislava, directly in the area of O. Nepela Arena, the stage of 2011 IIHF World Championship.

This tournament is organized with the support of Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic, Mr. Dušan ─îaplovi─Ź, under the patronage of Mr. Milan Ftá─Źnik, the Mayor of Bratislava and with the close cooperation of HC SLOVAN Bratislava, one from the most famous and oldest hockey clubs in SLOVAKIA.

Hardest AFTER-season tournament in SLOVAKIA!
 


Preliminary organization structure of the tournament:

Three days tournament (12.4.-14.4.2013) with a participation of 7-10 teams.


Invited are the first rate teams from hockey countries like Finland, Sweden, states gone-by from previous USSR, Germany, Switzerland, + invited other top club teams from Czech and Slovak Republic


Tournament with the ambition to be the hardest (under the games level and conditions) in Europe in this age category – flashing point of hockey season


Maximum number of players in team sheet for each team

(20 players + 2 goalkeepers) = 22


Age limit – all players must be born in 1999 or younger

(no age exceptions allowed)


Team sheets cannot be changed after the start of tournament.

All the players could be able to present valid Player Registration Cards

or another official document with the photo and the date of birth

– for example – the passport


Hockey rules will comply to IIHF official rules for the youth of the mentioned age category,


Points for teams: WIN=2 points, TIE=1 point, LOSE=0 points


For the team rank will be decisive in the following priority:

points, mutual game, better goal difference, penalty shooting


Rinks and times - simultaneously on two training rinks A, B

Each game will be played 3x 15 min. purely measured time (stopped time)

(breaks between periods – 5 min. without resurfacing)

(ice resurfacing always before each game; 5 min. warming up for each team).


Game system:

– will be specified later meeting the number of participating teams  

– so for the each team are guaranted at minimum 6 top games in total

 


Game days (for each team):

First day:        at least 2 games per team 

Second day:   at least 2 games per team

Third day:      at least 2 games per team

Final teams order/ranking would be done under mentioned points after the all games.


Maximum time per game:

Including resurfacing, breaks, warming up = max. 1h. 45min.

+ tournament ending ceremonial and ranking evaluation = 1 h. just on one rink).


Assumed ending of tournament: third day (14.4.2013) – app. not later than about 17,00 (exactly will be specified later)


Medals will carried off by the players of three best teams (1. place, 2. place, 3. place)


Each player of other teams will get souvenirs of the tournament.


Prizes for 3 best teams – each will get 1pc of cup (gold, silver, bronze)


Special prizes for the best players (cups, special souvenirs, and similar):

- Most valuable player of each participating team

- Best forward of the tournament / Best „shooter“ of the tournament (prize will hand

  over by famous hockey player – the legend of Slovak ice hockey)

- Best defenseman of the tournament

- Best goalkeeper of the tournament


Other information:

Only personal tournament  fee per player/coach/manager = XX,-EUR. Must be paid by each of participants for the organizer bank account before the tournament  – under the instructions of organizer (not included in this invitation, all the tournament materials in details would be send after your enrollment).

 

To avoid any unclarity we would like to inform you that this fee package includes all the expenses (without transport):

- All starting fees (no other expenses will be requested – excluding

   transport from airport and back if needed)

- Accommodation in hotels nearby the arena

  (5-10min. walking without need to transport) – 3x nights from 11.4.2013,

  but it could be prolonged meeting requirement of team

  (extra nights will be solved individually, not included)

- Continental style breakfasts in hotels – 3x

- Team lunch & dinner in Arena – 3x

- Dressing rooms (with drying places) separate for each team,

  assigned from registration till the end of tournament

- Drink régime directly in dressing rooms for the teams (maybe fruits too)

- Staff for assistance

- Health service and security staff

- Award Ceremony and the prizes for players of the best teams

- MVP & Best Players Selections, special prizes for them

- Souvenirs for every players

- All other expenses (ice, referees, timing, organization,…)


Meals for ordered teams – complete lunch and dinner menu will be organized via ticket system directly inside the Arena nearby the ice rinks. Breakfasts in hotels.

All are included to personal tournament fee.

The tournament representatives will provide the organization.


Meals for ordered parents and other visitors – complete lunch and dinner menu – in form of prepaid tickets will be ensured by the tournament representatives. Each other consumer is welcomed, but the other meals (NON-ORDERED IN ADVANCE) could be served for regular commercial prices. Prices and other details for parents and visitors will be in next tournament materials which would be send after your enrollment.


Accomodation of ordered teams and participants – in verified and nice hotels nearby the stadium as it is possible, for the special agreed prices, the tournament representatives will provide the organization.

This is included in personal fee.


Transport of participants (if needed, for example airport<->hotel and similar)  – will be ensured by the tournament representatives case by case meeting your requirements (like arrival/departure and other concrete details). Prices and other details will be included in next tournament materials which would be send after your enrollment.

These transport prices are not included in personal fee and are in optional addition. The tournament representatives will provide the organization.


Dressing rooms are ensured directly on stadium, the teams will not need to leave them and take the equipment from registration untill the end of tournament.

Drinks or the fruits for the teams will be included.


Support of media, marketing – internet, regional periodicals, anouncements, cooperation with  statutory massmedia – in negotiation.


THIS INVITATION is just preliminary material.

All of the invited teams, whose confirm the tournament participation, will get also the official material, organizing instructions, organizing rules, schedule of the games, application form (binding order form including team sheets and other data needed to non-problem organization).


ORGANIZING COMMITTEE RETAINS THE RIGHT to change any of information noted here in this invitation, but of course we assume, that no changes will be applied and it is also our interest to change the things just for better. Now we are still intensively in negotiations to improve our tournament.
